Our Motivation: All youth matter greatly to our God

Our Focus: Our youth staff members have a God-given passion for youth. They are willing to enter the world our youth live in experiencing their thoughts and feelings, to minister to them out of love and friendship.

Our Vision: As we build friendships with and among youth grades 6-12, our goal is to win youth for Christ, build them a foundation for living from God's Word, and equip them for reaching out to others to make an impact on their world for the Kingdom of God.

Are you a cat or a dog person? Neither although one day I wouldn’t mind a little bird in the house

Are you a morning person or a night owl? I guess I would say I’m a morning person I used to be a late night person but thanks to Carla things have changed.

What is the farthest distance you have traveled from home? Maui - the best vacation ever, worth every penny spent!

What is your favorite part of being a youth sponsor? Not having to dress up for adult services. Seriously just loving youth.  It amazes me that God allows me to have a small part in the life of a youth.

What is the farthest distance you have traveled from home? Maui...12 hours in a plane but worth it. Aloha!

What is your favorite part of being a youth sponsor? When I get to share something with them that they're passionate about, like music

What is your favorite movie? The Sound of Music. . . has been bumped out of first place by "Facing the Giants". What an awesome movie!

Who is your favorite band or singer? Steven Curtis Chapman

Are you a cat or a dog person? I prefer dogs, but I tolerate cats.

Are you a morning person or a night owl? I am definitely a morning person. I usually get up between 5 and 5:30 am every day (before my alarm goes off!)

What is the farthest distance you have traveled from home? I think that would be Franklin, Tennessee.

What is your favorite part of being a youth sponsor? I love meeting and getting to know the teens. I love playing guitar and making worship music with the youth worship team (we really need to come up with a name!). But most of all I love doing it all for our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
