SENIORS MINISTRY

Our Seniors ministry is designed to reach and minister to the seniors in Chemung county and beyond. It also provides opportunities for seniors to use God-given gifts and talents as they continue to be a vital part of the overall ministry at Maranatha Bible Chapel.

Monthly luncheons: The seniors participate in two luncheons every month. One is held on every second Wednesday at the church. The second luncheon takes place at Family Life Ministries. See calendar below for more details.

Seniors' Retreat: Once a year, the Seniors go on a retreat to Delta Lake Bible Conference in Rome, NY.

Special Events: From concerts at Family Life Ministries to picnics, the seniors try to plan something fun for everyone to enjoy and get involved.

Visitation: A vital part of the seniors' ministry is visiting those who are laid aside by illness or advancing years. This includes visits in private homes and nursing homes on a consistent basis. If you are in need of a visit due to illness or loneliness, or if you are interested in being involved in visitation, please contact Pastor Bill Wells at 565-8967.
