Pastor Profile:

Based upon the current and future leadership needs of our Church, we are looking for a Senior Pastor that:

• First and foremost meets the biblical qualifications for anyone serving as a pastor as spelled out in 1Timothy 3: 1-7 and Titus 1:5-9

• Has strong pulpit skills -- effectively preaching the Word from being in the scriptures and seeking and following God's leading.

• Has a proven and successful leadership record of developing new visions for a congregation and leading effectively to the achievement of those visions

• Can motivate others to become an active part of the vision.

• Can coach and lead others to their best performance.

• Is a man of integrity, blessed with both great wisdom and discernment.

• Lives a God-honoring lifestyle providing an example for others to follow.

• Earns the loyalty of his staff and congregation.

• Is available and visible to staff and congregation.

• Cares deeply about his congregation in a warm, friendly and compassionate way.

• Relates well with all age groups.

• Has five to ten years of experience in effectively pastoring a congregation large enough to support a multiple pastoral staff.

• Has a proven record of being able to effectively develop, manage and lead a pastoral staff.

• Has seen a steady and significant growth in his congregation over the past five to ten years of ministry.

• Is a licensed and ordained C&MA Pastor having both a four-year college degree and seminary degree.
