Events
Nothing strengthens our
understanding as much as
participating in a vibrant
community.
We
are planning to setup active
reading communities across all
age groups and interests. This
will range from noontime
readings for children up to the
most challenging issues of
faith. If you feel your interest
is not represented, do not
despair. Other members probably
have similar interests and you
can serve them well by
initiating a group of your own!
If you feel so led, please
speak with an elder.
Resources Sought
We welcome donations
(anonymously when possible) of
high-quality instructional
materials in all categories.
They should be very close to
"like-new" condition. Below is a
list of resources that would
enhance the library's
ministerial capabilities. If you
have an item that is not listed
but you think would serve other
members well, please email using
the feedback form below.
Deciding what resources to add
and keep in the library is
sometimes very difficult.
Questions such as these may
help:
-
Has this book stood the test
of time?
-
What is the author's
reputation?
-
Does it meet a need that no
other book does?
The
following resources are
especially appreciated now:
-
Other MacArthur Commentaries
-
Recent (2004+) Answers in
Genesis Books and DVDs
-
Short Devotionals (do not
require a full year's
reading)
-
Materials used in Small
Group/Sunday School studies
-
Magazine subscriptions, such
as : Christianity Today,
Creation Journal, Christian
Research Journal, and other
reputable publications.
Resource Exchange
To enhance the library's
ministry of furthering Christian
knowledge, we will be posting a
listing of resources that
members have made available for
loaning to each other. The
library provides this listing as
a courtesy but does not run it
nor is responsible for it (we
are mature believers in Christ).

Borrowing Policy
Please treat this facility just
as respectfully as you would a
public library or the local
bookstore at the mall. Only
those 18 years old and older may
charge out books, so parents
must check out books for their
younger children.
-
Brand-new books may be
loaned for two weeks.
-
Brand-new DVDs up to one
week.
-
Regular books may be kept up
to 30 days
-
Regular DVDs up to two
weeks.
Brand-new resources will be
marked with a sticker. Upon
checkout, staff will inform
borrowers of due dates. Fines
will be set at ten cents a day
for each full day overdue plus
the day of return. Fines must be
assessed so that other members
may benefit in a timely manner.
Please do not charge out
resources if you're not sure you
can finish them in time.
Disclaimers
We make every effort to ensure
that every resource is
doctrinally accurate and
God-Honoring. This library will
not accept resources from
doctrinally-compromised authors.
However, some otherwise good
books may contain a section that
is outside the pale of
orthodoxy. In that case, we may
include the resource but include
a disclaimer.
